Methodist Members Vote Yes on Limited Negotiations!

Members Vote to Focus Only on Wages & Benefits

Local 205 members at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge voted overwhelmingly in favor of limiting the upcoming contract negotiations to wages and health benefits only, while extending the rest of the current union contract.

The Union will be going into interest-based bargaining with MMC over these items beginning on Aug. 15, which could ultimately lead to a three-year extension of the current contract plus any improvements that may be negotiated.

The Negotiating Committee would like to thank all the union members who voted in the election. For up to the minute updates on the negotiations at MMC, visit the chapter's Facebook page.
