The Metropolitan Development and Housing Agency ("MDHA") is a public housing authority, primarily responsible for housing, urban and community development programs, and other related programs.
SEIU Local 205 has members in all MDHA worksites, including Andrew Jackson Courts, Cheatham Place, Cumberland View, Edgehill Homes, J.C. Napier Homes, James A. Cayce Homes, John Henry Hale Homes, Neighborhood Housing, Parkway Terrace, Preston Taylor Homes, Sam Levy Homes, Tony Sudekum Homes, Vine Hill, the Section 8 office, as well as employees stationed in the various workshops across the city.
The MDHA Steward Council meets at the Union Hall on the third Tuesday of each month. The Union representative is
William Currie and the Chief Steward is
Nat King Cole.
